I joined the Guppy manuscript swap and sent my baby off to a fellow Guppy.  I sat with fingers crossed waiting on her response.  The wait is over she sent the first 14 pages back with a critique.  She was very kind.  The pages reminded me of those dreaded papers returned by my senior English teacher, covered in red ink.  Oh, the memories.

I had loved ones read several versions of my book and rewrote it a number of times before I decided it was ready for the eyes of another writer.  Funny how I have read the MS at least a dozen times and missed blatant grammar mistakes.  Beyond typos I need to decide on if I should keep my prologue or trash it.

I like the idea of a prologue, but if it’s just taking up space there is no reason to include it.

Hmmmmm….  I have a lot to think about.
