There are only 9 days left in CampNaNoWriMo. I will be sad to see it end. Although, I would have enjoyed real smores over the virtual kind. If you are participating- keep up the work, brew some tea or coffee and plant yourself in front of the computer. Get to work, your story must be told. Now on with my goals:
Reading: I have finished Hot Lead, Cold Iron by Ari Marmell. It is my first Urban Fantasy. I really enjoyed the mix of fantasy and hard boiled type mystery. I could have used less of the F word. The plot kept my interest so I kept with it. Not sure if I will read another Oberon book. If I don’t it’s because of the language. The story itself was great.
Writing: I have 20,091 words out of 30,000. I am almost there. I need to sit down and just get it done! I did get 3 pages handwritten at the pool this morning, they need to be typed and added to this total.
No submissions and no revisions: with only 9 days left of NaNo, I think I can get to these in August. I think all of the submissions I sent out this Spring have been responded to, time for a new batch.
How are your goals going?

I pulled out of Camp this round because I realised I still had much more research to do before I could really write the story, but good luck with your final leg of it! 🙂

I’ve seen a lot of people doing the CampNaNo with some success. I’m finding you through ROW80, though – it’s inspiring to read about everyone’s goals and progress. 🙂

I loved Camp NaNo, Row80 is a bit different. Checking in 2 days a week can be hard.
