As I have mentioned in my last post, work is killing me. I did have the day off today, sort of. I didn’t have to go to work, but I had church and a family meal at my house. My youngest daughter was baptized today and it was celebrated in true Southern Baptist fashion. Meaning there was a lot of food, a lot of talking, and a lot of photos taken. We had baked ham with Jezebel Sauce and purple hull peas, if you’re interested. No banana pudding ( I hate banana pudding). Don’t tell anyone, they might take my Genuine Southerner ID card away.
I did finally get my Kindle Paperwhite. Yippee. It took me an hour on the phone with Amazon to figure out the only way to keep my books separate from my kids books was to create a new account. That was frustrating:( I have downloaded a handful of books, most of them are Indie. Only one is from an established author, Harper Lee. I love To Kill A Mockingbird, and can’t wait to dive into that.
Reading: I was reading a book, but I can’t remember what it was! Must not have been very good. I just started one of those Indie books. It actually fits my goal because I have never read an Indie book before. I hope it’s good.
Writing: on the back burner
Editing: Stalled due to work
Submissions: nada
Let’s hope for better in the coming days.
What are you reading today? How did you do with your goals?

Tomorrow is another day! That’s how I look at everything now-a-days.
