Sunday means it’s time for Row80. I had my last day of work on Wednesday, I am now officially unemployed. I’m sure it won’t last long, but I plan on enjoying it while it lasts. Of course, that adds additional things to my to-do list. This week was a fairly productive week. Take a look:
Writing: new novella. 25,000 words. I’m at 8,996 words. Not much, but it’s a start.
Editing: Edit my NaNoWriMo project, first 50 pages. Nope. I’ll work on this later.
Submissions: Submit to one editor/agent a week. Yes, one query letter sent out.
Health: One exercise session a week. No. I have given it some thought on the type of exercise I am willing to do.
The Great Purge: Taking one room at a time. I focused on trying to catch up with regular house work.
W&*(^t : Goal 3 healthy snacks a week. The last week of work brought with it a massive amount of sweets. Doughnuts, brownies, cakes, and cookies. So no, there was no healthy eating this week. I will say, that at home, I don’t snack as much as at work. That means, working makes you fat 🙂
So there you are, slow progress is still progress. Considering I have accomplished anything while my birthday, losing my job, and Mardi Gras is going on, is a miracle.
How are your goals?
CK
Yay for novella progress! Sometimes starting is the hardest part. 🙂 Over 1/4 done! Woot!
I hear you on catching up on housework. I spent Saturday doing that, since I spent Sunday through Wednesday doing as little as possible thanks to the cold my daughter shared with me.
Actually, the past couple of days I’ve been thinking I need something like ROW80 for everything I’ve been putting off. Like a monthly to do list. I would try to add it to ROW80, but I feel I add too much not writing stuff as it is!
My goals are going just fine… It’s everything else I question. 😉
