It has been an oddball week. We started out with the final days of Mardi Gras and I ended it with illness. If a sinus infection wasn’t enough I had to have pink eye too. I’ve never had pinkeye before and I never want it again. My eye itches and I have to remind my myself not to touch my eye. I also have to remind the kids not to use any of my towels or washcloths. So laundry is a constant, can’t wait for this to be over.
On with the goals:
Writing: new novella. 25,000 words. I’m at 14,027. It’s really hard to type/write/read with pinkeye. The kids have been out all week and they’ve also been sick. Yippee!
Editing: Edit my NaNoWriMo project, first 50 pages. Nope. I’ll work on this later.
Submissions: Submit to one editor/agent a week. Nada
Health: One exercise session a week. No.
The Great Purge: Taking one room at a time. Nada.
W&*(^t : Goal 3 healthy snacks a week. I have snacked less, and eaten yogurt.
Not much progress was made, but at least I did get up and get dressed today. I say that’s an achievement.
How are your goals going?

I can’t imagine trying to write with pink eye and sick kids! When the kids are home sick I’m little to slow with writing (as my attention is on them). The pink eye would ground me and no words would take off (kids or not). Seriously! Great job getting anything done with that going on!

It’s easier to keep track of my kids when they are sick. They don’t go far. Thankfully, they got over it pretty quick.
