It’s Row80 Sunday Check In

I’m a little late.  Sunday’s are becoming more and more chaotic. It seems my pinkeye may be back. Fun Fun.  The end of this round is quickly approaching.  I’ve learned a valuable lesson.  I can’t edit and write at the same time.  When I am writing, my brain is just focused on getting the story finished and I have difficulty switching gears to edit something else.  Maybe I’ll figure it out later.

Row80 goals:

Writing: new novella.  25,000 words.  I’m at 17,881.  That makes 3,854 words this week.  I’m good with that.  Only 7,119 to go.  I’m at the point where everything falls into place, but it’s the hardest part to write.  One of the characters has Alzheimer’s and it’s hard to write, it reminds me of my grandmother. I think that’s why I’m dragging it out.  There will be tears.

Editing:  Edit my NaNoWriMo project, first 50 pages.  Nope.  I’ll work on this later.

Submissions: Submit to one editor/agent a week.  sent out 1 query.

Health: One exercise session a week.  No. 

The Great Purge: Taking one room at a time. Finished the hall, today I start the kitchen.  YUK!

W&*(^t :  Goal 3 healthy snacks a week.  I have snacked less, and eaten yogurt. It wouldn’t be so bad, if I didn’t rediscover my love of baking. (Writer munches on molasses crinkles as she types.)

I’m not accomplishing all I have planned, but I’m happy with the progress.  Once, summer rolls around I will totally regret my lack of exercise…and cookies.
