I will not pretend that I was remotely successful at anything this month. I was busy with life. I barely even found time to read. But I enjoyed time with family and friends so it was time well spent.
Mine:
After Me by Joyce Scarbrough– Amazing read. Loved it. This is a YA book about the dangers of life online. It’s also a paranormal book. Just read it.- Celebrating Christmas with Jesus by Max Lucado- I didn’t even finish this!
Library:
Rick Steve’s European Christmas–This was a fun read, perfect for Christmas and had lots of pictures.Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman-for the Goodreads Challenge, I love the movie time to read the book. Nothing like the movie at all. It was a good book, I enjoyed it. But I liked the movie more.
Kindle:
Mistletoe at Moonglowby Deborah Garner- this will work for the Goodread’s December Challenge. First book I’ve read by this author. It’s a sweet read. I loved it and will read more of her books. A new Christmas book in this series just came out.Cathedral Windowsby Clare O’Donohue- A short in the Someday Quilts Mystery Series. As always a great read.- Santa’s Little Heist by P.D.Lake & Eve Paludan Nope.
- Come Bitter Poison by Monica Knightley- part of the Stratford Upon Avondale Mystery Series. Nope
I also read:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone the illustrated book by J.K.Rowling-This was a Christmas gift from my daughter. I loved it and started reading it as soon as the wrapping was off 🙂
That’s a total of 6 books this month. I failed at the Goodreads Challenge, I think. I haven’t really looked. But I read a total of 88 this year! I think that is pretty awesome.
On a side note, I am now on Instagram. You can find me as 1southernwriter
